OUR CHARTER ON SAFETY,
ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY

Being mindful of the environment, we at Bridge énergies focus our activity on responsible operation and development of a reservoir in the Paris Basin. Our activities deliver benefits at both local and national scale, such as:

  • The low carbon footprint of oil produced and transformed in France; the CO2 emissions of oil produced in-country are a third of those of imported oil. Oil produced in France each year represents just over 1% of the country’s consumption. Therefore, in-country production avoids nearly 100,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions a year compared to imported oil.

  • France’s energy security: this is part of national energy policy, and includes the stability of energy production and security of supply.

  • Tax duties: these represent 15% of company turnover. Half of the duties is distributed between Seine-et-Marne districts and the département as a whole. The other half goes to the government.

  • Employment (direct and indirect): Bridge énergies collaborates with about twenty external companies throughout the year. These companies come to us from a variety of domains: maintenance work, upkeep of green spaces and buildings, transport, security, handling, etc.
